| | | | spencer is this the model that the pickup is connected with the pickguard ? that the whole electronic packages comes off and leaves just an acoustic instrument, if so, a bass player buddy of mine has one of these, so much fun to play. I made him promise to make sure I get it in his will. |

If you removed it, then it would be a totally acoustic instrument.
It is fun to play. I'm always astounded as to how good it sounds when I play it through one of my Eden rigs. I have this one strung with a short scale set of half wound strings that give the bass just the right tonal balance. |

| | | | Wow... two beauties. The young lady made me think of one of my favorite singers from days gone by - Yvonne Elliman. I hope that you both take that as a very complimentary comment. Yvonne was and is a very lovely lady.
The Framus is sweet and looks in great shape. Wish I could justify adding another bass to my little grouping.

She has been playing guitar for 3 years now and has written over 50 songs. That's more than I wrote in my 45 year career as a professional musician. I think great things are in store for her.............(as spoken by a proud Papa) |

I appreciate the nice comments............ |

Good luck!!

TD | Yeah the DeLuxe was a very cool bass. I have never come across one of those. I have just seen photos. I would love to hear what the sound/tone difference is with two pickups on one of these. Sorry I couldn't help you out! |

Between now and then I'm lowering the price on this antique to and even $500.00 plus shipping. After Thursday the price goes back up and I'll be putting it on Ebay when I get back. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
