1968 Fender Telecaster Bass $1700

!!!! STILL AVAILABLE !!!!

This is a player, not a collector's bass

Bad news: stripped finish, some checking on what's left, no covers, pickup rewound by Lollar

Good news: sounds and plays great

Includes 100% trashed OHSC...good enough for shipping and storage but not day to day use (latches busted, wood broken in places).

More pics.

You pay shipping in USA. Located near Boston, MA if you want to try it out.

TRADES: if you happen to have a WHITE Fender AmStd Precision 5 string let me know. No other trade interests.

Cool ... looks nicely broken-in. MMMM comfy.

BTW for an FYI ... '68 replacement parts are on a particular auction site.

Love this bass. Trying to build up my bass account right now, but I'd happily sacrifice it for this (if the account was full enough, that is).

Oh wow. This bass is like a warm blanket. Great deal too. Collecting is overrated, playing is not.

Nice. I'm working on my own deal for a '69! If that falls through I'll be all over this!

Rewound pickup. One strap button was missing when I got it so one button is new. Rest appears to be original.

There must be a word or term for the feeling you get when a beautiful girl is sitting on the subway train across from you & you're dumbfounded; you smile at each other but don't speak; you get off the train & never see her again. That's the feeling I have right now looking at this bass. I think the term is, "I'm a jackass & I need to make more money so I can buy this bass."

Looks like my old bass.
Did you get this from Jerry at Scituate music?
If you did, this bass has a great neck.
