The Darkstars are way happenin' too. Truly. Very open sounding, responsive, high output. It's the Gosh darn short scale I can't deal with. Well, I could if I go into my 3 finger mordecai brown mode. |

Something I should mention about the bass. I got a PM asking about buzzing and "typical" Gibson neck tilt. I answered, yes, it has buzzing (IF you have a hard attack), still, it's the kind of buzzing that you don't hear when amplified (ie. in no way deadens the note) even with a hard attack. With a soft attack, no buzzes. Personally, I play soft and hard so an unamped bass....I'll always make buzz.
To the tilt. It does have a tilt, however,
a) only if you knew how to look for it can you see it.
b) the neck is straight so you can play each fret on each string, EVENLY all the way up the neck. This is a player, I guarantee it. Gig ready etc.
The bridge E string adjuster is set as high as it can go. I believe that has to do with a) the tilt, b) type of bridge that's on it.
That's my full disclosure for the bass. It's a 40 year old axe and I suspect most of this stuff is typical. Bottom line though: I'm pretty picky. If this were a long scale I'd keep it and play it. I believe whoever gets it, will be happy. Either way, I'll still give the buyer 2 day return. -L |

So whoever buys it next, keep me in mind if you sell it. Is there a way to get e-mail notifications on this kind of stuff? |

You're behind Kotzman.
Kotzman,
I'm giving Nastyrumor a few more days. If by Tuesday no purchase, it's yours. I appreciate your patience as you've had an offer in all this time. |
