I've had this bass since the late 1980s, but now it's time to sell. Here's the lowdown:
Original: Electronics, neck, body, fingerboard -- everything that gives a vintage jazz its sound and feel, IMHO.
Mods: Refinished to natural in late 1980s (before you scold, note that it was refinished when I got it); original tuners replaced with Grovers before I owned it; new pickguard; bridge and pickup cover not available; no original case, but will ship with the vintage-style tweed case shown; refret job in the late 1980s; some work to fill a divot near the pickguard (see photos).
Terms: Will ship to CONUS free of charge after receiving PayPal payment; no returns, except in Bay Area, on three days approval.
This bass is feather-light, and sounds and plays great. Please feel free to respond with any questions. I'm happy to speak with serious buyers who want to do their due diligence.
