FS: 1969 Gibson eb-2 $800

I am putting this up for sale again, at a much reduced price. I just cannot hold on to it. It gets no use, and deserves to be loved and played. The reason I am reducing this price is because of some of the issues I found, and for reasons of honesty, I am going to write what I know about it.

Bridge is a little high (needs to be adjusted) and that will lower the action. Action isn't terrible, it is very playable, but I like my action low, and I haven't found the time to lower it over the past few weeks. There has been some work by the previous owner on the input jack, well according to him it was done by a luthier, and it looks like a good job, but you can tell by looking at it that something was done.

It sounds great, I personally love the sound of the EB-2's. Warm and tubby in a way. I restrung with flats, and that made a world of difference in the tone.

The price is $800 and does not include shipping. The good news on that is I am a shipping manager and get discounts on my shipping rates, good discounts. If it is someone close, and you can pick it up, that is even better.

omg. Ive been dying for an eb2. If only this was 2 weeks ago, before i got my 1965 eb0... T-T. If its available in two weeks, which is two weeks too long, I'll buy it for sure.

Sent a PM several days ago but got no response, so I'm assuming it's sold. And for the record, I agree with you guys: I kinda hope it is, because I'd be unable to focus on anything but coming up with 800 bucks otherwise.

Hey guys,

I am sorry for not being quick at responding to emails. I have been caring for a very sick 15 month old, who went to the ER last night and I was up until 5:30am. So please have patience, I am not avoiding anyone.

Ok, I checked the trussrod. Bad news is I can't get it to move. It was a quick check as I was running around at the time, I want to try to loosen it and then tighten it again, but it felt very stiff to try to tighten. Just want to be honest.
