FS - 1973 Fender Precision natural ash/maple

Sign in to disble this ad
1973 Fender Precision bass, natural ash body, white pickguard, maple fretboard. Excellent condition for the year and age. I am the third owner of this bass and have the history since it was purchased new in Wisconsin around 1974.

The bass has one professional refret, and has a replacement white pickguard. Otherwise, it's all original. There are the usual number of minor dings that you'd expect in a 38 year old bass, but no chips down through the finish. Some discoloration near the rear strap button, shown in the pictures.

She's a nice light weight too, 8 lbs 14 oz on a postal scale.

Hardshell case included. $1850 shipped to the lower 48

More high res pics available upon request.

last two. The neck pocket is very tight, especially for an early 70's Fender.

Bump for my pal Shannon, one of the nicest guys, finest players and most excellent bass aficionados you'd ever want to meet.

bump with requested pic of the body w/o the pickguard. I should also mention that it's got the original bridge and saddles with the long adjusting screw on the G-string.
