I initially tried to sell this a few years ago, but decided to keep it. I’m now ready to move it. I purchased this bass NOS from a vintage dealer /collector in ‘94. I would consider this to be in VERY good condition for a 70’s era Fender Jazz. Everything is original with the exception of the currently installed wiring harness. In the past I had troubles with the Vol pot cutting out, so the entire harness was replaced with new CTS-Orange Drop-Switchcraft components. The original complete harness is included. Comes complete with OHSC, all covers, and thumbrest and warranty registration. No issues. The bass has worn TI flats for most of the time I’ve owned it, although it is currently strung with fresh DR Sunbeams. I would put this in the 10 pound range, light for a 70’s Fender. Also of note, the G string tuner is an early 70’s nickel style. It came to me like this, I have no explanation other than it was possibly leftover parts, or a warranty replacement of some sort.
