FS: 1978 Fender Precision Bass P Bass - $1100 shipped or best offer

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a 1978 Fender Pbass that has been gigged quite a bit. This is definitely a players instrument. As far as I can tell the marks/mojo are all original, however, I will say that I am not an expert in the field and don't want to sound that way. The pickups were replaced last year with SD Basslines Quarter Pounders:

There is also a Hipshot D-tuner on the E string.

The BadAss bridge is one of the originals.

The volume pot is a replacement but the tone is original.

Neck is straight and adjustable.

Weight is 9.5 lbs.

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to send me a private message and I will update the post with any new information.

Selling for $1100 shipped or best offer, in Access gig bag to lower 48 states.

Not highly interested in trades, but feel free to try me. Shoot me a PM with whatever you're thinking.

I don't have the original pickup as it was replaced in the late 70's with a dimarzio, then with the quarter pounders.

Any more questions, just send them on.

What is the neck profile? A, B, C? Jazz like, P-like big, P-like wide and flat?

I do not know what you would call the neck profile on this PBass. It isn't jazz like, its more Pbass thickness but not wide and flat. If you can tell me what the difference is, I'll do my best to answer this question. Thanks!

Hi Johnny, I would ship to London, but I'm hesitant and would like to hold out for a US deal. If nothing comes through soon, I'll let you know.
