SOLD! Great shape. Made in May, 1981. This is the rare Ruby finish: candy apple red over metallic silver.
I’m the second owner, I’ve had it since 1983. It hasn’t gotten much use in the last 20+ years, stored in its case in my closet. 100% original, all knobs, etc. The first time pickguard was ever removed was three months ago when I read on TB about the 47m capacitor and installed a jumper wire to beef up the bottom end (I did not remove the capacitor nor change any of the connections, so completely reversible). Pots are clean and smooth. The neck is straight and stable, low action, truss rods have been adjusted just three times since 1983 and work fine. Minor tail lift (about 1mm, less than width of a dime), it’s been that way since the ‘80s.
Light to no wear on frets / fretboard. Finish overall is in great shape for its age. Some checking. Minimal belt rash.
Includes OHSC (also in great shape), pickup cover and case candy. <1hr of play on strings.
$1,775 shipped UPS ground to lower 48 (only).
