Hello all, I have a 1983 Aria Pro II SB-Elite I up for sale...$350 plus shipping from Japan. I estimate it would be $150 to $200 (EMS) depending on your location. I'll only charge actual shipping fees.
OK, so this bass is a pretty nice player but let's just say it has a "history"!
I acquired this bass with a cracked neck (shipping damage I think) and glued it back together with some wood glue. I then had it professionally set up at an Ishibashi music store in Japan with 40-95 Rotosound steel roundwounds. Ishibashi applied some red touch up to the cracks but it doesn't really match the original CAR finish. You can feel the cracking of the finish a little when you play but it's not too noticeable.
Also, the frets have some pretty good wear to them so I think it might needs some fret work int the future. As it stands now, the bass is in very playable condition with a slim neck profile making it easy to play. The pickup works fully in both "dual sound switch" positions BUT the switch is broken! I can switch it using a safety pin but you'll want to change the switch. I'll include a brand new switch with the bass for you to install yourself.
I had to replace the D tuner since the original key had broken off.
Comes with a pleather gig bag.
Here are some pics. I'll add some pics in natural light soon...
