This is a `57 reissue Fender Squire P-bass made in 1983. Very good condition with one spot near the upper edge of the body that has a chip in the finish, see pic. Weighing in at 8.5 Lbs, this bass is nice on the back and shoulders. The neck is in between a Jazz and P, 1 5/8" wide at the nut. I think originally it came with a white plastic pickguard, but now sports a cool gold brushed alumininum PG. Except for the pickguard, the bass is all original with staggered pickup pole pieces, untouched cloth covered wires, and hardware. These basses are made with the same parts as the American made vintage series, just with a poly finish instead of nitro. Oh yeah, it sounds great too! Vintage sized frets have very little wear with no buzzes up the entire neck. I don`nt have a case for this bass, but will be shipped in a double box, and padded all around. I`m asking $400 + shipping in the lower 48. No trades, I`m looking for cash on this one. Please ask any questions.
