The nut width is 1.7 inches. I'll get it weighed, but it's a pretty solid piece of lumber and I would estimate it at over 10 lbs, but I'll get it weighed.

Thanks. I was trying to figure out the fraction, but I was told there'd be no math when I started playing bass, which ranks right up there with "the food and pay are great" line I was given when I joined the army.
