(FS) Selling my super cool vintage Peavey T-40 bass. If you're looking at this ad, you probably already know how cool of a bass this is. The T-40 is one of the best kept secrets in the bass world. Able to mimic many of the classic basses from the Fender P bass to the Rickenbacker 4001 to the Music Man Stingray, the T-40 is one of the most sonically versatile basses available. The versatility is achieved by Peavey's innovative (for the time) electronics. The T-40 is equipped with two humbucking pickups that can be split into single coils, with individual volume and tone controls for each pickup. The phase switch near the high mass chrome bridge puts the bridge pickup in or out of phase, depending on your desired tone. Since its discontinuation in 1987, the T-40 has become one of the most loved and undervalued basses out there. Join the many happy users in the world and see what the fuss is about.
I'll let it go for $700 shipped. If you're local (Los Angeles) and want to pick it up, the price is $600. The price is negotiable.
(I'm having trouble with the image uploader, but in the mean time you can see pics on the LA Craigslist ad here: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac...998179728.html
