OK - back up now for sale since I picked up another bass and closed the FT thread.
A recent impulse buy just not sure if I can ever get used to graphite neck basses. Don't be fooled by the one pickup/2 knobs, as stated below it is a Q filter "a la Alembic" and not like a regular tone control at all
Here is info direct from Zon customer service...
"Your Legacy Elite I bass was made February 1984 at our shop in Buffalo, NY. The body has a center piece of hard maple with poplar wings. It has a Bartolini EZQ circuit. The "tone" control is actually a filter which allows you to select from a variety of frequencies. Once the desired frequency is chosen, the mini switch provides three different levels of "Q" for a wide, medium or narrow band "bump" of that particular frequency"
FWIW although the above says Bartoloni pre when you look at it is says Zon on the Pre...
Great shape for 25+ years old, couple of paint chips and dings, but clean overall
Comes with original HSC
Plays and sounds great - I just recorded with it this week, clips can be heard at the below (unmixed raw tracks, but you can at least hear the tone). It gets ALOT on tonal variety with the Q filter, I just used a P type of tone for this session. Hard to get a bad sound out of this bass.

Asking what I have into it...$1550 shipped via PayPal
No trades - although I would take a fuzz/overdrive as partial trade.
