1985 MIJ Fender Jazz Bass Special
I got this in a trade & it had a bad neck.
I tried to have the neck fixed, but it couldn't be saved. The neck has been replaced with a 2007 MIM Jazz neck.
All of the other parts are from the Jazz Bass Special.
The body is not the original color.
Controls are Vol/Vol/TBX Tone Control (passive treble cut/treble boost) and a pickup selector switch
Gets nice warm thick Pbass tone & the Jaco burp.
Plays well & is super light!!!! 7.5 Lbs.
Balances perfectly
I will also include a B/W/B P bass pickguard drilled to fit the existing holes in the bass.
I think it looks better with the pickguard, but didn't want to drill pickguard holes in the body in case someone wanted it without it.
