For sale, one 1985 Wal MkI Fretless 4 string.
Mahogany body, wenge facings, Indian rosewood fretboard, and the famous Wal electronics. Has that great 'mwah' tone.
In reasonably good condition - there is a small gap between the body and the bottom facing. I'm sure a competent luthier or woodworker could repair it easily. There are a couple of small cracks in the facing, barely noticeable; they seem to be part of the natural grain of the wood. Finally, two tiny indentations on the back of the neck which do not affect playability whatsoever. I've tried to capture all these in the photos, which are here:

This is the first and only fretless I've ever owned.
Turns out I am a terrible fretless player.
I'm selling this because (a) I just don't play it, and it's a shame for it to collect dust; and
(b) I could use the cash.
Asking $4500 USD. Includes like new SKB hardshell case. Buyer pays shipping. I am located in Calgary, Alberta.
Will ship to US but would prefer Canadian buyer.
UPDATE:
Will consider cash plus trades for Rickenbacker, Fender P/J, or EBMM Stingray 4/5. PM me and let's talk.
Please feel free to PM me with any other questions you might have.
Thanks for looking!!
