very interested.

1) What are the main differences between this 1989 and the current SB-2 that G&L offers?

2) How is it as a P-bass? and as a combination?

3) How much does it weigh?

4) Would you consider shipping it to Tustin (Orange County), California?

5) Could you sell it for $600?

1) Don't really know. I do know the G&L changed to a 6 bolt neck on some of their basses sometime in the 90's, but I am not sure that the SB-2 was part of the change. Also, there was a change in the headstock design.

2) Beats me, never played a Precision (gasp). G&L's are the only basses I've ever owned.

3) 9lbs.

4) As long as the ship to addy is in the lower 48 states, the price includes shipping.

5) Not at the moment

Thanks for you interest.

D

I am interested, but have never played an SB-2 (but own a similar vintage SB-1, which I love). With no tone control, but just volume controls for the two pickups, do you know how the SB-1 and SB-2 compare in terms of tonal range. I assume there will be more high end sound available, but how about at the low end? Thanks.

P.S. Interested in any trades at all?

Beautiful machine, looks like my 85 SB1 but with the additional bridge pup. I love my SB1!

I would be interested in hearing sound clips of this after the purchaser receives it.
