I've just got it as part of a trade and I can't keep it...(need the cash for GAS)...
and u know how it goes...
Ok
Here is a 1990 Ken smith Burner (signed by Ken Smith)...
It sounds just like the $4500 KS...
It has "J" KS pickups and 3 band bartolini preamp...
Controls are treble and bass stacked knob, mids, pickup pan and master volume...
Very nice low action...
I think the string spacing is 16 or 17mm...
It came with a removable ramp, straplocks strings are maybe 2 to 3 weeks old...
It ships on a beet up but very functional HSC skb stile...
Bass not heavy at all 9.0lbs bathroom scale...
It has some dings and scratches that I tried to show on the pics but they are hard to see it on the pics... U can see some anyways...
Price is $1050 + shipping 48 cons....
as trades im interested on jazz basses 5 strings only and maple fretboard or light weight amp heads I'm really locking for a markbass light weight rig "F1" would be fantastic... But let me know what u have,
try me... the worst i can say is NO THANKS...
Thanks a lot guys and pm me for more info....

the preamp looks like a mode like people said before...the original preamp is a smith Bt 2 band Vol -push pull active/pasive- blend- bass-treble.
anyway is a very good bass.
good luck

good luck | Yes this is what I was told too. I think he picked the woods then sent them out to be built. He still signed them but dont think they were built by him. |
