FS: 1990 Rickenbacker 4003s bass, Jetglo

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale: 1990 Rickenbacker 4003s bass, Jetglo finish, excellent condition. This is the rare s model which has the dot fretboard inlays and the unbound contoured body. Very slim and fast neck. All original except for addition of new Rickenbacker push pull vintage circuit tone pot (same one that is standard on the new 4003 basses). The original tone pot and treble pick-up cover are included. Great sounding and playing bass. With OHSC. $1650

I recently bought it through the forums here, but I just can't get used to the Rickenbacker ergonomics unfortunately.

Thanks for looking! Please pm or post with any questions.

This is my favorite Rickenbacker. I have an 87 and it's just great. Much more comfy than the 4003 and the neck is sweeeet.

AGGGHHHHHH!!!!!! MAY THE CURSE OF THE RED RIC REAP YOUR SOUL!!!!! THAT RICKENBACKER IS TOO FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!!! I really need a job, to get money for a Ric. I've wanted one for 2 years now. The G.A.S. kills me. I wish I could take that one off your hands.... awesome bass man.

What trade bait would you be interested in? PM me. I don't have much musical stuff (a vintage 70's Penco Acoustic that sounds really a lot like a Hummingbird or maybe somewhat lower end Martin. Plays extremely well.) However, I have lots of other really valuable and collectable things and 125 cash.

Adding trade information

Would consider trading for a Music Man Stingray (as long as it is not too heavy) or Sterling 4H fretless.

hotrodjohn - I don't think I received your pm. Could you send it again?

Also, added to fretless Stingray to the trade list.
