FS: 1992 G&L Climax

Here's a beautiful example of a '93 Climax in great condition. No marks or dings to speak of, Mary Kay Blonde (I call it white), beautiful grain through the finish. The Climax was the predecessor to the L1500, only made from '92 - '96, if I correctly recall. Has a single MFD humbucker in the Stingray sweet spot. Coil selector switch, active/passive switch, and volume, bass & treble controls. I never use it in active mode, pretty harsh (like the L1500).
Weighs in at about 9 pounds, 1.5" nut, schaller tuners. Has one hole in headstock, maybe for a string tree? SN is B024290.
Comes with a G&L molded case that has "turn clasps" rather than the standard latches, they look stock?
This bass plays like a dream fast neck, great frets & action. It's one of the nicest examples of a Climax I've seen!

Crazy. I owned this bass for a very brief time. Wound up flipping it because I'm just not an active electronics kind of guy, though this thing sounded sweet in passive mode. Sometimes wonder if I should have hung onto it.

Yep, that extra hole in the headstock was a string tree. The finish on this one is gorgeous, just like the man says. That's always been one of my favorite G&L finishes.
