I have a 1993 beautiful Alembic Europa 6-string bass for sale. A beautiful bass, but not perfect - there's many small-small superficial marks/dents on the front and back, most so small they're hard to photograph. There are however, some significant nicks on the lower horn and small dents at the top of the neck on the back, Oh Well... I'll gladly provide additional pictures in hi-resolution at your request.
What IS significant is there is virtually no fret or fretboard wear, the neck and setup is good - this bass plays WELL and sounds AMAZING - at all ends of the fretboard. Probably one of the finer instruments i've played to date...
I'm more of a 5 string guy and honestly this bass is a bit heavy for me @ roughly 12.5lbs.
The top is quilted Maple, the body is Mahogany, and the neck is a total of 11 layers - 6 maple & 5 purpleheart, with gold tuners, Alembic pickups and preamp, it's truly a fine bass, that pretty much says it all! Just installed a new set of Alembic strings a couple of days ago...
I do not have a HSC but will ship in a gig bag with plenty of careful packing. Asking $3,500.00 Contact Bruce
