FS 1993 Stingray 5

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD

FS - Time to relist my 1993 Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray 5. Comes with what I think is the original G&G style tolex case $900 + shipping to the lower 48 only.

The bass is 100% functional. All original except for dunlop locking strap buttons. There are typical scratches in the finish mostly on the back. Some chips in the finish in the headstock. Like many EBMM basses from the 90s, there is nice figuring and birdseye in the neck. The neck is well oiled and feels like satin. I have recently set the bass up with DR hi beams .45-.125. The action and setup are pretty much to EBMM factory spec.

A cash sale is preferred but I might be open to the right trade too.

Nice trade offers thanks guys! I would be interested in the Lakland if it were a 55-94 and the 75 jazz if it were a rosewood neck. So close...

no worries. '93 is a great year for SR5s. I had one in Teal Green. Still kick myself for selling it.

Well no offense but if i had a 55-94 i wouldnt be trading for yours. And by the way the 55-02 is worth about what your asking price is, but good luck with the sale.

Looks just like my '92 but a year younger. I got a tolex case with mine so it's likely the OHSC.

You're gonna miss it...

I love my old SR5!
The phrase "You're going to regret it" can apply to the seller...
OR the people who miss out on a great SR5 at a great price like this.

Honestly, this era was WAY better than the newer ones, IMO.
GLWTS!
