FS - 1993 USA Fender Jazz Plus - Black and Maple

Got a short while back from a fellow TB'r and I love the bass - however the missus lost her job, so I have to make sacrifices.

These things we do.

The bass is in very good condition - MIA with the smaller jazz bodies, Lace Sensor pickups, Kubicki pre, etc. It has a three way switch, passive, mid boost, active and off - pretty cool.

As I said the bass is in very good condition, but as it was mentioned to me and in the original listing, it has three things I want to mention as well.

1) There is a ding in the on the bottom edge by the body by the bridge. It was painted, and quite frankly I never noticed it.

2) The upper strap pin hole was moved. The pin is stable and there are no issues - the original hole is visible when a strap is not on.. Again, not something I really noticed.

3) Minor cigarette burn (not me, I do not smoke, neither did past TB'r..)

Other than that, the bass is in great shape - no rash, very light bass and sounds great. Neck is thin, perfect and no dead spots or issues. Again, I would rather not part with it, but oh well. Such is life. And there will be other basses.

Oh, It also has the original hardshell Fender script case.

2 pics here - more as you scroll down.

PRICE DROP!!!

$640 shipped CONUS.

I had one of these for a while until the preamp gave out. It was probably the greatest 4 stringer I ever owned. I was a moron selling it.

I used to gig 2 Jazz Plus 5ers.... Great basses.

Thanks guys, yes truthfully I am not thrilled with selling.. I love the bass. I have a Geddy Jazz that I can use.. But with my wife not working, I am in a pickle of sorts.

I took great care of the bass - I am kinda OCD'ish that way, case kept, smoke free home, etc.

A few more pics..
