Selling my 1994 Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray 4 as I really need the cash as I'm trying to pay my car off sooner than later. Shame, because this is the most resonant and most comfortable Stingray I've ever played. As you can see, it has a bit of mojo, but it's all from being loved for 18 years.
It has the venerable "Flea" mute bridge installed. I bought it with the clear guard because I think it looks awesome that way...why cover up a beautiful burst finish? As far as I can tell, the bass is all-original, except for the mutes, pickguard and the brand-new lithium 9V battery. Strung with a newish set of Rotosound flats.
There are a few little dings on the bass here and there, mostly on the lower bout. There's a light finish crack on the back of the bass that I tried to get in the pictures. The crack seems very stable and none of this mojo affects playability at all.
The neck is rock-solid and has not needed even the slightest tweak to the truss at all in the six or seven months that I've owned it. However, I was sure to check that the truss works, and it sure does. Very slight fret wear on this bass too.
I will include a like-new EBMM case as well. No trades please.
