FS: 1994 MIM Stu Hamm Urge I bass

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a great little (32" scale) bass that I have practiced with at home for 3 years.

I an only selling it as I am back to gigging exclusively with my American Standard Jazz and P basses and can't see a need to have this great bass only sit on my wall.

It is in great shape with a few small scratches on the back and all original.

It is black with a black PG and rosewood board.

I will post pics later this afternoon.

Asking $325 PayPal/shipped/insured with a cheap Fender gig bag anywhere in CONUS or Canada.

No trades please. I an trying to get under the 10 bass mark!

Sorry, no clue. Not sure how to tell, but it is light.

Nope. I spoke to the local TBer that bought that one though.

I will be listing it on CL in Toronto today for $350 likely.

Yes... but a tiny bit different.

The shorter scale ensures that the neck pickup is closer to the neck (see pic vs. my 1 day old American Jazz) and the bridge PU is closer to the bridge (see pic). Still has a great slap tone.

Note: I didn't do a good job of cleaning off the Urge. It is dusty, not scratched. Sorry about the crappy pic!

Thanks,

Brent

Thanks for that response. Very interesting!

Is it possible to see the Jazz and Urge next to each other? I'm just trying to get an idea of overall size. I currently play a Jazz, and it'd be nice to have a downsized body/shorter overall length of 32" scale.

All the best

Pete

I think this one is going to sell locally via Craigslist. If that falls through, I will post the requested pics.

Thanks.
