FS 1996 Carl Thompson Walnut Beauty
 

Up for sale is a bass that holds a very special place in my heart. I got into playing bass after hearing Primus at age 15. Since then I have been incredibly blessed to have played and owned so many basses. As a Primus junky, I had always wanted a Carl Thompson. Well last year I finally got one. It is a dream, light, just over 7lbs, versatile, full bodied, just all together special.

Specs -
Walnut body with Walnut top (three piece with red wood in between.
Rose wood board with a maple neck.
Single EMG pickup.
This is the No Frills model and is in stellar condition. I have babied her since day one.

My asking price is $4100. Only trades id be interested in would be Smith, Ritter and MTD.

Beautiful. Ball scroll with Carl's own wooden bridge... This is an uncommon No Frills for sure! What pre is in it?

I'm not certain, but I believe it's the EMG pre, but ill find out. It's stock from what Carl put into it.

If you post a picture of the control cavity with the back cover off I may be able to tell you which model it is
