FS: 1996 Musicman Stingray 4- Video link + Pics

Sign in to disble this ad
I aquired this 1996 Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray 4 in a trade. I am an EBMM Sterling and Jazz bass Guy.

2 Tone Burst
Birdseye Maple neck
Rosewood Board
8.65 lbs on the UPS Store Scale! Super Light!

I assure you this one is a great player with a nice solid G String. This bass sets up beautifully and just nails that Stingray sound. 7.5 out of 10 condition due to a little bit of 'mojo' on this 15 yr old Ray. I do not have a scale, but it is definetely not a really heavy Ray, I'm guessing 9 -9.5lbs.

I have included a video for a better look:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thdtNYM2s-I

Mojo includes:
The end of the headstock is dinged up a bit
A crack in the clear coat on the E string side of the body, see the pic of this, it is hard to see from most angles but i got it in the light to maximize visibility
A chip in the clear coat on the E string edge of the bass body
2 Tiny chips by the rear strap lock
A small chip on the back of the body

Original Hardcase, Strap, and Straplocks included

$765

The neck is amazing on that! The price is killer, too!

Bump for a bass made during an era in Musicman history where a wonderfully figured neck and choice body wood pics weren't limited to Ball Family or Classic series...

They were standard!

That's a heck of a deal, even with the dings. And that neck!
