you know the one. my baby. best quality bass I have ever owned. I have babied it. Beautiful birdseye neck, no nicks at all on the back of the neck because I have babied it so much. Body has occasional scratch here and there.

Yes it is a sad day for us all. I may regret it later but right now I am pursuing music in slightly different ways and can not justify owning this. I have found happiness in minimalism in the music world. I plan to cut down my collection to just a few instruments. My taylor acoustic, my strat, my les paul, and probably my 93 fender standard jazz and a cheap ibanez fretless (its worth more to me than I would get for it). I am even selling my epifani bass amp setup.

I do not play in a band anymore, and dont see myself doing so for a long time. I play music by myself and record it. The greatness of this bass is in a rock setting, which I am no longer.

I did that also, from 1983 to 1993. Lots of growth as a person and an artist during those years. I wrote lots of crappy music too, but happy I did. I feel like I had to get past the stuff I hated before I could arrive at the stuff I love. Good luck. It's good to hear you're happy in the decisions you're making.
