I have decided to sell my 1997 Vintage White w/Tortoise shell pickguard Fender Jazz Deluxe. This is an American bass with active pickups and it sounds amazing. I absolutely love this bass but sadly I need some extra $$$ and not an extra bass, so this is put up for sale. I will include a black pickup and strap with strap locks in the sale.
The bass is in very good condition. It has definitely been played and has not sat in a studio, so there are a few little nicks and scratches here and there. Nothing major and nothing at all that effects playability or sound. It has been professionally maintained and setup on a regular basis. I've taken very good care of this bass, as I do with all of them. I am the second owner and I've had this bass for over 4 years now.
As of now I only have pics of the bass live. I'll take some close-up shots when I get home from work today and post them right away.
I have the original Fender hardshell case, but all the locks and even the handle have since broken off. I've noticed the older fender case locks don't hold up very well! I've been using a different case for this bass which I need to keep, but I will gladly give you the broken case so you have something safe to store it in.
I'm asking $950.00 shipped to CONUS ONLY, but I will entertain offers. I would love to make a trade, but right now I can't. This has to be a sale.
I know from experience that these are very hard to find, but worth it when you do!
