FS: 1997 Fender Precision Deluxe 4 string

Here is a 1997 MIA Fender Precision Deluxe. Plays, looks and SOUNDS incredible! The 3 band active preamp provides an excellent range of tones. Only thing worth mentioning is some finish wear/minor denting on the back of the neck, you can feel it when you play but it's not a hindrance (see pics). The setup on this bass is outstanding: super low buzz-free action!

Bass only weighs 9.6 lb. It weighs 21 lb. in the case

I'd be careful with "andbed." Has done nothing but inquire about bass after bass after bass and doesn't appear to have made one transaction yet. Has said in other posts that he's on the forum to buy basses for purposes of resale but something smells to me. Just FYI. Good luck with your sale and a free bump!

Man, this bass looks sick.

I had a Fender JB Special, Pbass with a jazz neck... and it was neck dive city. Loved that bass, but had to hold it up all the time when I played.

Does this do the same thing with the strap on, I noticed the machine heads are not ultra-lights? How about sitting with no strap?

It balances very well, strapped or sitting. It weighs 9.6 lb. so there is proper body weight to balance the neck. I had a Jazz Bass Special too, I know what you mean. It was 2 lb. lighter but not nearly as well balanced. Light weight has its tradeoffs.
