FS: 1998 Modulus Quantum 6 - Walnut Top!

This bass was just completely refinished by Pat Wilkins. It's in perfect condition with no dings, dents or scratches of any kind.

Beautiful dark walnut top with chechen board. Bartolini soap bars and preamp. Gold tuners, bridge, knobs and Dunlop straplock buttons.

Controls are volume, blend, midrange, (stacked) treble/bass. String spacing at the bridge is 16.5 mm but it is adjustable and could probably get close to 18mm. The scale is 35"

The only thing that gives away the basses age is it's serial number and some of the gold has started to wear off the hardware. There is also a little playing wear on the plastic pickup covers.

Even though this is a pre-truss rod version there are absolutely no issues with the neck or the action. It's low and fast with perfect relief.

It sounds only like a Modulus can! Clear, punchy and fat with great authority and the ability to cut through a wall of guitars like a hot knife through butter!

Price reduced to only $1,495.00 shipped and insured in the CONUS

Will consider trades or trade + cash offers but an outright sale would be preferred. Four and five string 34" scale basses only!

If you haven't played a Modulus with a Chechen fretboard, you are missing out on something truly special! GLWS!

wow a walnut modulus 6--that's one of my dream basses. How about a 2000 Saturn LS in trade? It's not a 34" scale, but I'll throw a brand new pack of strings

I totally agree. The Chechen board give this Q6 a very organic feel and it makes the tone less sterile and much closer to a wooden bass. It also feels great under the strings while you're playing.

If you are at all interested in owning this beautiful bass make me an offer. You might be surprised and I'll accept it. I am a motivated seller because I just don't play 6 string any more.

Operators are standing by................

OK, I just reduced the price on this beauty to $1,495.00 shipped and insured in the CONUS because I just bought another bass.

I need to move it sooner than later so my GAS can be your gain. This is an unheard of price of one of these basses in this kind of condition.

Don't miss your chance!

This is really a great deal on one of these basses. If you have been looking for one of these you really should consider talking the leap. You won't regret it. This bass is VERY nice!

That's a nice offer for a VERY nice bass but I already have two fretless 5's and one fretless 4 in my stable so it just wouldn't make sense for me.........

Anybody else wanna make me a cash or trade offer?

I have accepted a deposit on the Q6 and I also have another interested buyer waiting in line so I believe one way or another this beauty is spoken for.

If by chance both buyers back out I will open it back up.

Thanks to all who expressed interest!
