I just felt that the bass had a very nice vintage vibe about it with the beautiful sunburst and the off-white shell guard. Kind of reminded me of some of the cool basses I use to play back in the 60's.
In your honor I have re-worded my title line to be more accurate!

It's every bit as pretty in person. Honestly, that's what first drew me to it. I'm just not playing it enough to justify keeping it. These days I'm more comfortable with a Jazz Bass neck when I play 4 string.
Surely someone out there is in need of a great P-Bass! |

Here is my trade bait: I have a '72 P that is Walnut Brown finish, with maple neck, 8.3 lbs. Pups are Dimarzio DP 122's and I have the orginal pups which of course I would include in the trade. I installed the DP's about 2 years ago, original pups stored in an enclosed plastic case. Frets are brass I think, and the nut is brass. All else is original as far as I can tell. I have post now in the classifieds with links to lots of pics and even some video. I need to take some nice outside pics like yours once all this snow melts...
A trade would require, IMO, cash on your end, which you may not want to do if you are just trying to get a new horse in the stable. If you are not interested, here is a bump for a very nice looking bass! |
