1999 Fender American Deluxe Jazz 4 string.
Black 'n' Maple beauty. This bass is not mint, but it is really great shape. The only minor issues would be a bunch of surface scratches on the back. I would assume from those really stupid buttons on the jeans' pockets that serve no purpose but to scratch guitars. There is also a string indentation on the fingerboard second fret space (not the fret), under the E string. Looks like somebody pressed the string into the wood for some reason. Certainly no affect on playability, you never even feel it, but it is mentionable. Frets are in really good shape as well. No buzz, and nice low action. Plays fantastic, and is very light. 8.4 lbs.
4 bolt neckplate, and 22 frets.
The pickguard appears to be mint colored, and the original case is included. Original pickups too. This is the 9v preamp version.

I'd mostly just consider trades for a Fender Jazz bass with a maple fingerboard and block binding, but maybe an older maple board Stingray, or something like that.
