FS: 1999 FENDER USA Hot Rod Precision Bass (P/J) - Lindy Fralin Pups

1999 FENDER HOT ROD PRECISION BASS (P/J pickups)

I bought this from another TB'er, and it's a total keeper...but, I've got 2 P's...and I just can't justify it. It'll be a keeper for somebody!

Original thread where I bought it:
F/S only Fender USA Hot Rod Precision in Sunset Transparent

The finish is Sunset Orange Transparent, with ash wood grain showing through. Rosewood fretboard.
Tortoise shell pickguard, parchment (off-white) guard also included.

The pickups have been upgraded with a matched P/J set by LINDY FRALIN. The J pickup is a stacked coil noiseless high output. No buzz or hum on any setting.
The pots are wired Volume/Tone/Blend (with center detente).

The original "American Vintage P" and "Hot Vintage J" pickup set is included as well.

Action is nice and low with no fret buzz. Frets are in very good condition. Truss rod works fine.

The bass is currently wearing nicely broken in flatwound Chromes.

Condition is excellent...very clean. No big dings or scratches. Only light player wear.

Tweed hard shell case included.

Asking $950 shipped to USA only.

I guess I might be open to a trade though...but I'd probably only be open to 4 stringers of the Ernie Ball Music Man or Fender variety.

I still regret having sold my Hot-Rodded P Bass. These are excellent.
