I hate to sell these, but an opportunity that was to good to pass presented itself and now I have to pay for it!
My only trade interest at the moment would be for a US L2000 with a #6 or #8 neck with a rosewood fingerboard in a 2 for 1 deal.
First up is an L-2000 Tribute in what I think is cherry sunburst. Not sure on the age, but it is one of the earlier ones as it was made in Korea. Great bass and in almost new condition. The only blemish that I can find is a little bit of what looks like fretboard wear. I tried to get it in the last pic, but I'm not sure it will show up. Schaller Straplocks installed. Will ship in the original G&L gig bag. $425 shipped in the US. Paypal only.
Next up is the SB2. I'm still on the fence about this one and I could pull it down at any moment and throw something else up here, but we'll see how it goes.
This is an almost new (and in new condition) Bordeaux Red Tribute SB2. The neck on this bass is one of the best I've played in my short bass playing career. This is one of the reasons that I'm waffling a bit. I actually picked this one over a US SB2 that I tried out at the time. To my ears it just sounded better, and it felt better to boot. This will also ship in the original G&L gig bag and it does have schallers installed. $425 shipped in the US. Paypal only.
Sometimes it seems as if a <10 lb. L2K (Tributes especially) are kind of like Bigfoot. You hear people talking about it and they claim that they've seen one, but when you look for it, you can never find it!
I appreciate all of the trade offers immensely, but I could use the cash to pay off some other things. I have to say though, I would be hard pressed to say no to a USA L2000 with a #8 or #6 neck and a rosewood fingerboard for both of these in a 2 for 1 deal. I'm not really looking for anything else at the moment. Thanks!
