FS: 2 Hamer Basses, 4 String 2-Tek cruise and 12 String B12L USA both w/OHSC

SOLD.....Price drop before ebay...$600....This will just be the start of a house cleaning around 6 Basses give or take. The first is a Blue USA Hamer Cruise bass with matching headstock serial 645XXX purchased from a fellow TBer a few years ago. I have been overseas for most of the last two years and this bass as well as the others that will soon be for sale have not gotten any play nor are they likely to in the future by me. This Cruise is in virtually the same condition now as when I purchased it sans strings. There are a few very minor dings (pictured) on the back (none on the front or headstock that I can see). The case is also in good condition with just a few minor tolex tears. New strings are installed but I don’t remember what brand. I don't have any weights but this one is not overly heavy. $600 shipped CONUS/paypal.....SOLD

SOLD.......The second is a USA made B12L (or B12S-L as the warranty card indicates). It is amazing how nice this plays but it is just not something I am going to need and would like to see it be somewhere where it is needed/played/wanted/admired. I know these things are not exactly rare but this thing is really cool which is why I bought it at a small music store in LA. No dings that I can see but there are light surface swirls and scratches only noticeable if you look very closely (it is black..you are going to see these things but only up very close). Absolutely nothing is through the finish. Comes with a new set of Hamer strings still in the package. The OHSC is in decent shape. It has slightly more road wear than the one referenced above but still fully functional, stuctually sound and looks fine. $950 shipped CONUS/paypal....SOLD.....thanks....

I am not that open to trades (or trades plus cash from me) except maybe a unique USA Reverend and that is about it. I also have another Cruise in Seafoam Green (very rare color) with a Gotoh Bridge and OHSC I might consider selling but that one is as of yet not on the block. Its condition is very nearly perfect. That one will be easily north of $750 but if you got a unique USA Reverend to trade let’s talk. I also have a 2 Tek 5 string with a Mary Kay finish I may consider parting with although this one has lots of mojo for me (ex english beat bass). IF you think that might something you can't live without let's talk. I gotta get rid of half of the stable but the more I think about these things the harder it gets to choose which ones to keep and which ones to sell. I am sure this sounds familiar to many. I love these Hamers and think they are/were the best value for the money. I am hoping they find a new home here first and not via ebay...Next on the block will likely be a red/black 1991 Fretless Rick and a Traveler MK2....stby for those.

those 2tek cruise basses are real sleepers. I couldn't believe how good they sounded when they came out back in the 90's. that bridge is no joke. it sustains like a Spector neck thru.

My main (and only) fretless is a Hamer Cruise 5-string with the 2Tek bridge. I had the maple lined ebony fingerboard planed and epoxied by my tech. It sounds very Jaco-ish. I didn't want a fretless that sounded like an upright--I have an upright for that!

Thats a great price for the 12 string, I'd be all over that but I already have one and I paid a lot more for it.

Wish my Millennium would sell, I'd love to get that Cruise bass.

This will be the last bump before ebay on Sunday night. This is a very fine example of a 2 Tek Cruise with just a few minor finish issues. These Hamers are very fine American made instruments. Those of you who own or have owned them know this very well. $600 shipped CONUS is a nice deal for this bass.....needless to say, I cost me more....SOLD....
