the good:
plays great, sounds great, is exactly what you'd expect from a bass of this caliber. looks incredible, I love the matching of the maple fretboard/two tone burst/gold guard. used it on several recordings and one tour, never let me down, ever. throaty precision tone with the ability to roll back and thump too. only replacing it because I recently purchased a Rickenbacker and have lost all interest in Fender basses currently, unless I can land a real nice vintage one.
the bad:
some scuffs, some dings. previously owner countersunk the straplock holes into the body, which isn't a problem, if you have straplocks. without straplocks, there is no way to attach a strap currently. it sucks, kind of, but I'll include the straplocks that are on it now.
includes hardshell case, it may or may not be original? price drop to $850 shipped.

Also, the OHSC is a tweed case branded G&G.

also, not an original hardshell then, but it sure does have a case!

weighs pretty light, I can't say for sure. I'd wager it'd be no more than 9 pounds tops.
as per the pictures, I'd have to dig up my digital camera, haven't unpacked it since I moved. I'll see what I can do.
edit:
found my roommates digicam instead! haha .
bottom two are the pictures of the only major cosmetic flaws on the instrument.

this is a steal! I need a Gibson SG Standard or a single channel vertical input JCM 800 in the very near future, so if you have either of those items for trade, I will add cash on top of this bass toward them. let me know! |

Are they epoxied in, hammered into an undersized hole? Any ideas? Just trying to get an idea of the restoration work needed to undo that bad foolishness. Can you tell by prying around a little if they'll pop back out? I'm thinking about pulling the trigger here, but need your input on the removal of those bad boys!
