This is a 2001 model USA Fender Jazz bass. Its in excellent condition. Its a rare 1 piece Ash body with a maple neck. It weighs only 9.6 lbs on my digital BR scale. Its very well balanced and a sonic dream. Its super puncy and has ridiculously low action with no dead spots. There are a few light scratches in the clear coat on the top that i tried to capture in a pic but youd have to look hard on a certain angle to see them and arent visible from inches away. Virtually no fret wear I can feel.
2 mods have been done that increase the sonic punch. First a Badass II bridge has been added , second..a set of Fender USA custom shop 60's pickups. Boy they sound INCREDIBLE. Of course, both of these mods can be reversed, but both the original bridge and pups are long gone and not included. Also comes with Dunlop Strap pins and a brand new set of Ernie Ball Coated strings. It comes with the original molded fender case. These dont come around often so grab it. Sorry...NO TRADES. I really need the $$$. $895 Shipped in conus. paypal or postal mo.

I would double check the 1 piece body thing, I can clearly see at least two. It's a beauty regardless. Very tempting indeed. |

Very tempting indeed. | After looking it over and over in person again..I dont see anything that is clearly a glue line. there are no crossing of grains, and the grains seem to be consistant through to the sides. Although, actually it probably makes no difference in tone, I thought it was neat that it seemed to me, to be one piece. In any case its a nice piece or 2 of ASH

Not to say that it takes anything from the beauty, quality or value of this stunning bass!
And... there's always an option that I'm wrong. Ask my wife. |
