| | | | Hi there,
How would you describe the low B on this? It's a rare 5 string that has an absolute killer B; is this one average, better than average, or on the wooly side?
Also: I've noticed that string holes on Warwick bridges tend to be drilled awfully tight for fat B strings; have you had to stick to moderate gauge B strings?
Thanks. |

| | | | Oops, I forgot: What's the string spacing at the bridge?
And what's it weigh, about?
Thanks. |

I kind of like that, though, because it balances out the hotness of the MEC's and the brightness of the bell-brass frets. I think the B on this sounds better than the B on my MIA J.
It weighs 10.8 pounds. I haven't measured, but as I understand it the string spacing is 16.5 mm. I've never changed the strings on it, but the previous owner has a non-tapered B and it looks pretty tight. |

Best of luck. This is a terrific deal! Imagine the flashy crap some poor kid could come home with from the GC for the same money. This is a _real_ gigging bass for a pro, minus unnecessary bells and whistles. |
