FS: 2002 G&L L2000, Beautiful!

Folks,
I'm trying to downsize once again, so up for grabs is one of my L2K's. This is in beautiful shape, burst w/matching headstock. No. 8 neck, 1.5" nut. Neck is very fast, low action, no buzzing. The bass is in immaculate condition, one small ding on the back near the control plate, very hard to see. I had to use the Macro on my camera to capture it.
With OHSC & paperwork. Weighs a bit under 9 pounds.

Asking $750 shipped CONUS.

That is just... intensely not fair :-) Any chance you're looking for trades on anything?

Edit: and, what's the weight?

My L2000 doesnt havee fret markers as well. A very sexy option IMO. This is going to make someone extremely happy :-)

Any idea what the body wood is? It looks like alder but it could be mahogany, they did a few around that year. I'm very interested if it's mahogany.

I have absolutely no idea what the wood is, is there any sure fire way I can tell?

Not really, unfortunately. Is the bare wood in the neck pocket cream-pink-white colored or light reddish-brown colored? I can't tell from the pic with the neck pocket date stamp.

My favorite bass.
Someone buy this, this is one of the most underrated basses.

Can't remember, I'd have to pull the neck again to see......if I get a chance, I'd do that. I would venture to guess that it's probably alder.

Is that a scratch in the third pic above the pickups or a oddity of the camera etc.?

It's a reflection of my arm taking the picture, there isn't a scratch there. I actually had to go back & look at the bass after I saw that!

Does it have the K-switching? Three-way middle switch with series/parallel/single coil option?

No, it does not. That came after this came out.
