$550shipped OBO (lower 48)
This custom shop model was ordered and received in the fall of 2004. Classic sunburst with flamed maple top and matching headstock. 35.5 inch scale for improved B string and it really does help compared to 34 inch 5 string basses. Ebony board, Carvin active/passive electronics (humbucker @ bridge, single coil @ neck) blend, volume, bass mid and treble boost or cut, switch to make HB a single coil. Hipshot bridge, assymetrical neck (neck is finished to match bass but is not sticky) hipshot ultralight tuners, Dunlop Strap Locks installed. Bass weighs about 8 - 9 lbs and is really comfortable to play for long periods of time. I'll throw in matching Carvin strap (3 in wide, with straplocks), comes with instructions regarding electronics, truss and bridge adjustments. Carvin hard shell case in vintage tweed (very nice case but has some cat hair on it). This bass hasn't been played much since I got my Lakland DJ (back to 4 strings) but it's been resting in its case other than when i wipe the board down with lemon oil. The bass needs new strings and there are two dings on it, one on the headstock by the logo, you can barely see other than it picked up some white paint, and the other is on the underside of the bottom horn about the size of a pen tip, you can't tell its there unless you shine light on it to see where it's recessed. This bass has been babied and I am the original owner paying nearly $1500 for it new. It's been a great bass and just an awesome player with no weakness' as far as I'm concerned. I am just learning that after all these years I still prefer 4 strings. I'm asking $550 shipped OBO (lower 48) via PayPal. The only trades I'm interested in are a Genz Benz NeoX112T (plus cash from your end) or a Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0 (plus cash from my end). If you need more feedback or references you can check out my eBay name kaiser_sosea83 . Please make sure to ask any and all questions you may have and throw offers at me. Link below to some reviews (none are mine) and some info from the old Carvin catalog as it looks like they don't make these any more. Thanks for looking!

Edit: just used Carvin's online builder to "re-construct" this bass, quote is inline with what it cost me. Save yourself a ton of money!
