American Standard P, I'm original owner, all original with the additons of pearloid pickguard, Am. Std Jazz bridge pickup, three way switch, OHSC. Great condition, was my go to bass until recently, always used flats, frets perfect. Better pictures later...asking $750.00 shipped to 48 states....

Always used flats...

..Tell me more. What style of music did you play? Did you record with the flats?
Thanks.

Did you add the J pickup yourself? If so, you did a very clean job!

Free bump for a killer bass!

It added a lot of tonal possibilities, I've had no issues with it at all. The P only position didn't change or take anything away from the original sound, and the P/J position helped alot when I needed more brightness, as I use flats pretty much all the time. I don't use the bridge pickup only, but someone who plays a lot of rock would probably love it. The work was done by a guy who's been doing Fender authorized warrenty service for 30 years, he's the best around here by far. Thanks for the comments, it's a great bass and I think a great deal, as it's in perfect condition....

I play in a GB band (general business), weddings, functions, an occasional show, and weekly club gigs, etc. Mostly swing and Latin standards and pop and country oldies, dance stuff. Flats just seem to do it for me! I've done very little recording, a few demos for locals, that's about it....

Sure, Fran Ledoux at Bay Fretted Instruments in Marstons Mills, MA. He's the best.

Thanks, good luck with the sale! If I had the cash, it'd be mine already.

Hi Dan, thanks, it's a great bass. Surprised it has lasted here so long. I do have a very close "almost", so we'll see what happens. Hope you are liking the Spiros....JJ
