Well I just got this and its my first Geddy Lee ever. While I was waiting patiently for this geddy I fell in love with the newer ones at guitar center. This 2004 model seems like the neck is a lot smoother and thinner for some reason. It has an awesome neck but I really want to get a sunburst model now that I got a taste of it.
The previous owner has made a minor mod to it. The bass sports a 16position tone styler tone knob. Basically it has 16 different tones from the tone know. Its the one that clicks in to each position. I really dont know how it works but its pretty sweet. He also installed a kill switch (mute switch) which can come in very handy. Also the bass has dunlop strap locks.
The body got some marks, so if youre looking for something in pristine condition just look away. It got some gouges as you can see from the pictures.
Now I can ship this bass for $625.00 with a gig bag and a brand new set of DR hi-beams OR for $750.00 shipped I can ship in an almost brand new warwick rockcase flight case. I really dont have the use for this case because I dont travel much with my gear.
