SOLD: Warwick Corvette Std Active 5 German

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD $550 $500 Paypal shipped USPS Parcel Post CONUSA takes a nice 2004 German Warwick Corvette Std Active 5 with a Levy's EM-8 gig bag and Dunlop dual-action strap-locks.

The controls include volume (push/pull active/other), blend, treble and bass.

I recently got this Corvette in a trade with another TBer. I prefer neck profiles that are a bit slimmer front-to-back so this one is on the to-go list.

I would rate the bass as a solid 7.5 out of 10. it really looks nice and has the traditional Warwick growl. It is a plug n' play, ready to go German Warwick.

The "flaws" include a few dings along the back-side top edge of the headstock, a 3/16 diameter oval ding along the edge of the lower bout, some quite noticeable grooving/string wear on the neck pickup cover (prior owners must have been slappers), a bit of greyish discoloration along the back edge of the upper bout, and there is some fret grooving on the first 3-4 frets.

I would describe this as a nice looking & playing Corvette... but it does have player wear from actually being put to work doing exactly what it was designed for.

I feel that it is a great value at the asking price. I have not seen a lower price on a nice German Corvette Std Active 5.

I'm only interested in a sale. I need to thin the herd.
