Up for sale is my recently acquired Ritter Roya. Wonderful craftmanship, playability, tonally, this bass has it! THE ONLY reason I am selling is I have incurable GAS for a custom build to be named later, so no trades please. The condition is 9.6 out of 10, no dents scratches, hardware discoloration, anything of that nature. There is a small crack in the surface finish between the neck pickup and the neck pocket, I've seen this on other Ritters, so it's not uncommon and has no affect on playability or mechanics of the bass. There is slight wear on the fretboard where the color is lighter due to someone playing with a wedding band, but almost unnoticeable. The following is the information from Jens himself:
This Instrument is an exclusively hand-crafted unique product.

Currently strung with Neon Pink DR's but those will soon come off in favor of the black Ritter strings.

I need to sell her for another acquisition, if it were not so, this bass would be staying forever! Very rare color for a Ritter, as rare as Ritters are to begin with, super light at 8.5 lbs. and TONS of tonal options, very low action and even unplugged this bass sings with a beautiful voice. The mahogony back just adds to the warmth, anyone buying this bass has a money back guarantee (within reason). If you buy this bass, play it for 24 hours and don't agree it's for you, return it for a full refund once you pay return shipping. The Ritter comfort strap and two sets of Ritter Black Knight strings are an added 200+ value I'm throwing in.

That is just FINE. There is no other word for it. And not ridiculously priced by any means.
If I were more fond of Ritter necks I'd have no choice but to buy it. That's not to say there's anything *wrong* with Ritter necks. It's just a personal preference thing... Everyone should have a chance to hold one of these beauties, savor it, and see if it's the bass for you. |

If you are referring to Jens' string spacing, which he refers to as "progressive" it is comfortable and easy to get used to. The bridge is easily adjustable to a more "familiar" spacing of 18 to 19 mm if you wish.

That's a good point of reference for someone who hasn't been lucky enough to hold a Ritter. I was referring to the shape, specifically, nothing to do with the spacing. I dig the adjustable spacing on Ritters... all basses should offer that feature.
Best wishes for a quick sale! |

If so, I spent many a late night staring at his web site and (unsuccessfully) trying to figure out how to rationalize that purchase..... Sorry you have to sell it, but good luck bump nonetheless.

I did the same as you, I spent many hours scheming on how to get it and finally did! For those who don't know, Brian is a great guy I recommend doing business with him at Low End!

Please, no trades, and no low balls, I will keep the beauty before I give it away!
