Just in time for the holidays!
SX 57P copy made in 2006, sunburst with the original cool headstock and not that lame headstock they use now. This is a very solid bass that plays well with low action and great tone. It even won an audio shootout I did on here a few years back vs. a 1979 Fender Precision by a 2-1 margin. I've used this bass onstage many times, and it's always been a solid performer. Stays in tune, plays and sounds great, electronics work perfectly. I won't say it'll make you forget your favorite $2000 bass, but it's a worthy backup IMHO.
I've given it a couple slight mods. I replaced the string retainer with a Fender, the frets have been leveled, and i painted the pickguard to make it look more like gold anodized. The original pickguard color is white, and I can leave it on or remove it at your discretion. Everything else is stock. It's in excellent condition, no dings, only light surface scratching from normal use, and a few deeper belt buckle scratches by the neckplate, but nothing that goes through to the wood.
$125 cash, local pickup only in Central Florida area (EDIT: I'll be in Clearwater on Friday if anyone in the greater Tampa Bay area is interested). Sorry, but I'd prefer not to ship at this point.
