SOLD Put this under the tree - Merry Smithmas Price reduced until Christmas only Buy this bass and get a free cheese steak from Ginos in South Philly.
2007 Ken Smith BSR6MS. $2799 + free insured shipping anywhere in the USA. No trades - No overseas. If local to 19018 save on shipping.
This BSR neck thru has nicely grained walnut wings, maple center, morado finger board, 18 volt series/parallel switches, internal dip switch bank. Batteries are 9v lithium and are presently registering 9.1 vdc on my volt meter. Volume knob can be pulled up for passive.
Currently strung with Dean Markley SR2000 strings.
History on it is this was purchased new in May 2010 from Chuck Levin in DC as new old stock hence the 2007 date stamp. You wont find a better price for a bass like this with the quality of sound and workmanship this bass has.
Soloists, smooth jazz, gospel players, funk masters will have a great time with this bass. The closest I can get to how it sounds is a video by this talented young man, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=913rTwwQZ0s , obviously not the bass for sale however it's the sound that is very very close to mine. If you listen to this with headphones or have a nice sub-woofer on your desktop you'll appreciate this vid.

Now on to the the photo show::::::: I shot these on Wed 11/23/2010. Not bad eh?

To quote from Ken's site,
"6 - String Model
Machined from Solid Brass
18mm String Spacing
Available in Chrome, Black, or Gold (Optional 19mm spacing in Gold & Black Only)"
Given that your bridge happens to look like a gold one, I thought I'd ask, in case I got lucky and found a 19mm six string Smith.
