FS: 2007 Lakland 55-94D Rare Buckeye Burl Top

This is such a beautiful bass. I rarely play it for fear I'll bang it up. This is one I planned to keep for a very long time but it needs to be played.

Buckeye Burl topped 55-94s are very rare. Leo at Lakland told me that only 20 of these were produced. 10 sold in the US and the rest to Europe and Japan. This one has a rosewood fretboard with BEM dots. Lakland LH3 pickups and preamp. The bass is in excellent condition. There is one very small ding on the back of the bass that does not show in pictures. Other than that, there is not a mark on it. The neck is perfect and it plays like a dream. I just put a new set of JO flats on her two months ago. I can't say enough about the tone of this bass.

It also comes with a Lakland cream color hard case and case candy that is in like new condition.

Believe me, if I had the scratch, this one would be coming my direction. It's a nice match to my Buckeye Burl SKB-3005.

Was lurking in the classifieds and saw this... it actually hurt me physically when I saw it - tis a thing of beauty.

Wish I had the scratch to spend on a bass like this (love me some Lakland and I need a 5-string) but alas my budget is 20% of the asking price.
