SOLD: 2007 MTD 635-24. For sale is my newly acquired MTD 635-24 s/n 1527. Strikingly beautiful bass in near mint condition (just a bit of wear on the pickups, bridge, and zero fret). The bass has articulate fingerstyle response and great slap tones with plenty of tight lows and a bright high end. I just traded for this bass here on TB but must sell to finance a purchase of an older European double bass. Specs: very comfortable for a six string BODY TOP: Maple Burl

NECK: Ash
FINGERBOARD: Maple
HARDWARE: Black
WEIGHT: approximately 10 lbs.

The ash neck on this MTD gives it that extra articulation throughout all frequencies-it just sounds bright and punchy up and down the neck. No doubt this bass would stay with me if I wasn't upgrading my acoustic bass.
