FS: 2007 USA Fender Jazz American Standard w/S-1, EX+

SOLD

Here's a nice, light 2007 US Fender Jazz bass, in sunburst & rosewood.

Has the S-1 swx to run it humbucking, like a Precision. Best of both worlds! Pretty versatile sounding axe.

Weighs 8.5 lbs. I've got the action set super low. Truss rod turns both ways.

It's got a couple of small bumps on the lower edge, nothing too serious at all. Overall, EX+ condition. It might look like there's a blemish on the PG, near the neck pup, bass side, but that's a bubble in the PG plastic (which is still on her!)

Comes with a tolex Fender case by G&G shown in some of the pix. Case has a couple of battle scars in the side. Inside is pristine.

Do you by chance have the stock tuners for this? ... also, I have not heard the S-1 switch referred to as the 'Greasebucket' control ... my understanding of the two is that they are different items completely? ... BTW, you have the makings a GREAT poker hand coming with that serial number ... if the last are the same as the first, the price of this should double ...

Is that an added mod? I didn't know that was on the 07's.
Thanks.

Thanks.
It looks original to me. But here's two pix of the control cavity for you to draw your own conclusions:

The original owner said these are what came on the bass. I was curious, too - never seen Hipshots, just the half-closed Fender tuners. I took one off to see if they had the telltale two divots for the half-closed tuners, but nope.... As the vintage guys say, "Never say never when it comes to Fender..."

After a little research, I think you are right about that. I've adjusted my ad. Thanks for pointing this out.
